About the International Bishops' Conference of St. Cyril and Methodius

International Bishops’ Conference of St. Cyril and Methodius (MBK) has been operating since December 22, 2004. years. It inherited the Bishops ‘Conference of Serbia and Montenegro – with Macedonia added at the time – and from 1997, when it was founded, until 2003, it operated under the name of the Bishops’ Conference of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. MBK is headquartered in Novi Sad. The ICD includes two archdioceses: Bar and Belgrade; six dioceses: Kotor, Prizren-Pristina, Skopje, Srem, Subotica and Zrenjanin; as well as two dioceses for believers of the Eastern rite – in Serbia it is the diocese of St. Nikolaj in Ruski Krstur, while in Northern Macedonia it is the Diocese of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Strumica in Skopje.
